They do not accept payment with non belgian card, and of course to open a belgian bank account you need first to pay for the registration in the commune. This is absurd, I had to get out withdraw the money from an ATM and redo the queue.

My criticism is constructive. I had to go more than three times to schedule an appointment to renew my ID card. I went about three months in advance, then a month in advance, and finally a week before my ID card expired, only to be told they would call me. I was finally able to renew my ID card, but I had to go more than three times. I don't think it's necessary. They always gave me different information, and I just didn't know what to do anymore. They need to provide clearer and more specific information and not waste people's time. Like you, we have children to take care of and jobs, and we can't always take time off. In my case, I had to change my schedule more than three times and find someone to take my son to daycare. Please be more professional. Thank you.

A supportive and helpful team despite long waiting times I recently visited the Evere Commune, and although the appointment dates can take a while to obtain due to high demand, I have to say the staff are truly supportive and professional. A special thanks to Sebastian, who was incredibly helpful, patient, and clear in guiding me through the entire process. His attitude made the experience much smoother despite the long wait. Overall, once your appointment day comes, you’re in good hands!

Very long waiting periods for appointments and even after getting appointments the executives ask you to go back and bring other documents and give another appointment. They don't respect the time of people. It's time they speed up their processed like other communes

It is also important to rate when you have good feedback. I went three times to the commune, for address change, driving license application and pickup. All without appointments. All the staff who handled me (all females, do not remember their names) seemed very professional and knowledgeable (and most importantly sympathetic when they did not have the required knowledge). I tried to speak in French as my French is very bad and they immediately took notice of that and even started speaking extremely slowly for me to understand. I had to wait, yes but that is in every commune in every country. Hope they all keep up the good work.
