Wayn is a directory of services in Belgium. We collect as little data as we can and never sell it.

Who is responsible
The controller is the operator of Wayn named in the legal notice. Contact: [email protected].
Without an account
You can search and view places without an account. We use no advertising cookies or trackers.
For our statistics your browser keeps a random id that changes every day (local storage, not a cookie). It cannot identify you.
With an account
We keep your email, name, phone if you give it, language, favourites and reports, only to run your account and correct the directory.
Legal basis: providing the service you ask for (GDPR art. 6.1.b).
Maps and towns
A place’s Google map loads only when you ask for it, because Google sets its own cookies. The “Google Maps” buttons open Google’s website.
When you type a town we look it up in OpenStreetMap from our server, so your IP address is not sent to them.
Where your data is
Database in the European Union (Paris), website hosted in Europe. We do not transfer data outside the EU.
How long
As long as your account exists. If you delete it, everything is erased at once. Handled reports are deleted after 12 months.
Your rights
In “My account” you can download your data, correct it or delete your account. For anything else: [email protected].
You can also complain to the Belgian Data Protection Authority (dataprotectionauthority.be).
Cookies
Only the technical sign-in cookie while you are signed in. No advertising or analytics cookies.
