This Saturday, July 5th, I encountered a particularly unpleasant situation at the Soumagne town hall. While I was speaking with an employee who was very helpful and respectful, another staff member, located at counter 3, took it upon themselves to interrupt inappropriately by making offensive comments. Seeing my annoyance at their questioning of the ongoing conversation, in which they were not involved, this person stated, among other things: "You can roll your eyes, madam, especially since we're seeing you on a Saturday morning." In my opinion, these comments were inappropriate and had no place in a professional public-facing setting. Even though this employee seems to be proficient in her administrative duties, her attitude towards the public leaves much to be desired. I consider this type of behavior problematic and it deserves to be reported to ensure that citizens are treated with respect.

The municipal administration offers a quality service to the public. Depending on the number of people visiting, you may sometimes need to be patient.

What has become of citizen support? The urban planning department brushes us off when we ask for help: they simply send a link—often incorrect—and we're left to fend for ourselves. There's no specific contact person, and the response changes constantly because we end up speaking to a different person each time. As soon as we ask a question, we feel like we're bothering them. We're told, "Consult an architect," even though the project doesn't require one. I also feel a great deal of sympathy for elderly people who aren't computer literate and who find themselves completely abandoned by this system.

Colas, incapable of completing projects on time. A tiny little job, just 50 meters. It completely blocked my street, which slopes uphill at a 10% gradient. The workers wrecked everything and never came back. Three drops of rain fell, and they decided not to work for two months. In short, Colas is great for tearing things down, but rebuilding is a whole different story. Anyway, I'm thrilled to have to walk 600 meters uphill for the past four months, carrying groceries, pellets, and a gas cylinder. I strongly recommend never working with them! Thanks, Colas and the municipality of Soumagne, for ruining what little comfort I've managed to build! But of course, you prefer to hide behind a letter claiming a technical problem. Well done!
