  I consulted Dr. Musette in early March for minor back surgery. The procedure itself, both the consultation and the surgery, went well: the doctor was kind, reassuring, and answered my questions clearly and concisely. However, several aspects marred the overall experience. First, she stated that she doesn't normally perform surgery during a first appointment, a rationale I don't understand and which seems to prioritize multiple consultations. Furthermore, she refused to treat small growths located right next to the surgical area, justifying this by a lack of time and the need for a follow-up appointment. For the price paid, a comprehensive treatment of the area would have been appreciated. It was primarily the post-operative follow-up that was lacking. I received no specific information on the type of dressing to use. Following a minor infection two weeks later, I requested an appointment, but I was told over the phone that I needed to send photos by email for the doctor to handle the emergency. A major inconsistency is apparent here: the footnotes in her own emails state that "medical emergencies are not handled by email." While the doctor responded fairly quickly to the first email, my subsequent questions about the wound's progress and the next steps for healing went unanswered, even though I needed to know the best course of action for optimal healing. I therefore had to contact my general practitioner for wound follow-up and to complete the treatment. In conclusion, while I wouldn't advise against this practitioner for her compassionate and technical skills, I wouldn't recommend her either. Improved patient follow-up and doctor accessibility after surgery are, in my opinion, essential to avoid leaving patients in a state of uncertainty.

  Dr. Musette treated my acne, and she is very gentle and attentive to her patients. I have been recommending her to everyone I know ever since. It's rare to find a dermatologist who is sensitive to the needs of Black skin. I'm surprised by the negative reviews she receives; it's certainly a communication issue. And as for the prices, quality work deserves fair compensation. Otherwise, there are other dermatologists...Sandra Umutoni

  Dr. Musette is an exceptionally gentle, kind, available, and professional doctor. She listened attentively and offered me the best possible treatment plan. The office is very pleasant, and the treatments are performed with meticulous care and aseptic technique. I am delighted to have found my dermatologist! I wholeheartedly recommend her.

  Consultation to have some flesh growths examined and removed. Fantastic, four were successfully removed, but two remain in the same area. As a result, I need to schedule another consultation (€80, which isn't cheap) with a "mandatory" analysis at my own expense (€90 nonetheless).
