It's a one day hospital and a home for older people, so we have patients that are sick, but healthy ones too, that just need someone to give them a med at a specific time. There is a hairstyler who comes regularly there, there is the option of a vegetarian menu for Halal eating people, there is a cafeteria too - in there you can get the daily menu for 8 euro, which includes a soup, a warm meal, a desert.

Since the change in management and the kitchen, lunchtime food is inedible! It's either cold or disgusting... It's impossible to contact anyone in charge or get an appointment. It's urgent that it goes back to how it was before! Think of your elders!

To become a physiotherapist, my husband stayed there for five weeks following hip replacement surgery. There was no rehabilitation whatsoever. My husband came home bedridden and couldn't even sit up. The staff's empathy is completely nonexistent. Morning care is practically nonexistent, or even completely absent on some days! The food is always the same and not even nutritionally stimulating enough to help him recover. I was threatened with police intervention because I wanted him to have sandwiches, like at the hospital where he had his surgery. Under the pretext of difficulty swallowing, he could only receive a disgusting cream, even though the problem was only with liquids! The nurse threatened to "do nothing" and "call the police" if I gave him sandwiches!!! My husband also developed a fever there, and I demanded that a doctor see him because after three days, nothing had been done to treat him! So, forget about Scheutbos for the rehabilitation and well-being of your loved one. It's truly sad to treat patients this way. Can the staff please ask themselves: "What if one day, at an advanced age, I need treatment? Could I bear what I'm putting these patients and their families through?" Note: 1 star for one or two nurses who were very kind to the patient.

A truly awful place. I strongly advise against going there if you care about your loved ones. - The staff doesn't take care of patients. - There's absolutely no empathy. - I received a call from management asking if I'd prefer my mother to die there or at home. You don't even speak to an animal like that, let alone over the phone. So, if you care about your loved ones at all, avoid this place. This happened 3 years ago.

Avoid at all costs! Some of the nursing staff on the first floor are extremely unpleasant and do a terrible job! My father was hospitalized there for three weeks; he was paralyzed, so logically, he needed help. Well, some of the "caregivers" didn't even want to help him, wouldn't change his incontinence pads, only bathed him when he didn't want to, and sometimes even told him he had to help too because "madame" had back pain. And when you complain, they don't take anything into consideration! All they can think to do is give Xanax to sedate patients without considering their condition. The management doesn't even mention it; they don't even take your comments into account. Luckily, we moved my father to another facility, where he quickly regained his full mobility and was able to return home. To top it all off, some of the caregivers at the new facility where we transferred my father had worked at Scheutos and confirm what we're saying!
