I had an uncomfortable experience at this pharmacy on 3 April 2026 around 10:17 am. While requesting my prescription to be retained for insurance reimbursement, I explained that I am covered by an international insurer (Henner) which requires the prescription for claims processing. Despite this explanation, the pharmacist insisted that this was unnecessary and marked the prescription in a way that prevents reuse. My explanation did not seem to be taken into account. I would encourage the pharmacy to familiarise staff with the requirements of international insurance providers, especially given the diverse and internationally covered clientele in this area. I left with the impression that my request was treated with undue suspicion. I hope greater care can be taken to ensure that all customers are treated with equal trust and professionalism!

So I arrived here with a food allergy reaction (i.e. you can choke to death within minutes) and ask for loratadine or similar to slow down the swelling before I go to hospital. The lady calmly asks whether I want the pills with sleepy effect or not (again, you are talking to someone with a swollen face, in distress, who can choke and faint within minutes) and ends up giving me something unknown against seasonal allergy. I ask whether this is better than loratadine given my situation (not my first time) and she says yes that it is even stronger and proceeds to charge me the highest amount I have ever paid for an antihistaminic. I leave and rush to the emergency room where I show what she gave me and they confirm this is a medicine against hay fever sneezing and that she chose the least effective antihistaminic in this kind of situations (after which I was given proper anaphylaxis treatment). So not only is this pharmacy the most expensive in the Brussels region but its pharmacists got their university titles in a cereal box. Do not come here for advice or in an emergency, just for stuff you know and if you have money to spare.
