I was in Unit 0, honestly, avoid it at all costs! It did me more harm than good. The care is appalling. I'm a ketamine user and I came here to get treatment! They just leave you in your room. They give you a lot of medication; I'm epileptic and they got the dosages wrong... not to mention there's someone smoking opium in the smoking room and drinking alcohol... Zero blood tests or urine tests in over two weeks. In short, understaffed, no communication. The only positive point is that you're alone in your room, well isolated. It's a shame there's zero monitoring and the medication mixing is so poor. It's difficult to get an appointment with the doctors, even after two and a half weeks. When I told the nurse I was having dark thoughts, they gave me a diazepam and then told me to go to my room. The only time I got a quick appointment was when I called eight suicide prevention centers. They gave me an appointment with a psychiatrist the next day... the verdict was that my condition was terminated. Two days later

I've had psychiatric hospitalizations in various hospitals: Fond'Roy, Erasme, Ste Anne St Rémy, Uz-vub, and Clinique St-Jean. They're not bad hospitals at all. But I found what I needed at Sanatia. No more hospitals after seven years!

The nurse was very distant from the patients, not very attentive to their needs.

Of all the psychiatric hospitals in Brussels—Fond Roy, La Ramée, Brugmann, Sainte-Anne, etc.—this one is number one. The staff is attentive to patients and provides excellent care. Everyone has a private room. Physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and special education are available. One area for improvement would be more activities to stimulate patients. The doctors and caregivers are incredibly kind and inspire complete trust. I recommend this place to anyone wanting to get better and recover.

A beautiful place, but the care leaves much to be desired. It's difficult to get an appointment with doctors, there's no information sharing, the care contracts are absurd, and patients don't receive basic care. Families are given no information, including the discharge date. Disappointing and not very effective... I'm a former nurse and professor of psychiatry, and I wonder where the quality care has gone...
