What is the duty of a municipal employee, a public employee? To help people. Someone who doesn't speak Flemish won't be helped. How can someone who has just arrived in Belgium know Flemish? Government work is about helping people; this applies to municipal employees, hospital workers, police officers – everyone. You must learn to treat all people equally.

With an appointment (made online), it was my turn immediately. I checked in at the machine with my date of birth or EID, and it was my turn even before I could sit down in the waiting room. I was helped incredibly kindly by the staff!

Only accessible between 09:00-12:00 on weekdays. A town hall that only works 3 hours a day to help its residents. (Except Mondays) Do you need something? Just figure it out yourself and make an appointment, they say. Something urgently needs to change! You can give your residents more than 3 hours a day. It is ridiculous that you get better service at a McDonald's than at your town hall. And I'm not going to comment on certain people walking around there... the other reviews do that enough already :)

The employee working at reception was very rude and acting very racist. I hope something is done about it.
