Impressive building. Main market is right in front.

It's shameful not only to charge for parking at City Hall, but what's even worse is that Madame de Vinci hides in a corner between her van and a low wall, waiting for someone to park so she can issue a parking ticket! Pure and simple extortion!

The beautiful town hall stands in a corner of the Grote Markt in Ronse. The building was constructed in the early 1950s to a design by Frank Blockx on the site where a building with a similar function had previously stood. The uniformity of the sleek exterior architecture contrasts with the warmer and more eclectic art and interior inside, including many modern and expressionist paintings, for example in the majestic wedding hall alone. There is an imposing central staircase.

The hours are not really work-friendly for the people who contribute to the economy. You also need an appointment for many things. She also didn't care when I had to go for my driver's license. At least, that's what I was told at the counter.
