I went to change the address on my ID card and I was very well received. At reception, a very smiling and friendly lady was there, and later a gentleman provided information about the municipality and about an integration program to help me adapt to my new neighborhood. 100 out of 100!

If you're a foreign expat: flee this city and its services. No help is offered if you don't speak the infamous Dutch. Sorry, I don't have the skills to learn this language in a week since moving to Belgium. They're even afraid of English. Friendly staff are nonexistent. Smiling must not be taught in this city's schools.

The new traffic situation on Woluwelaan in Machelen/Diegem around Haachtesteenweg is a major catastrophe. Stay away from here during rush hour because you will be stuck in traffic for hours!
