I have always had problems with that town hall since I came here to Belgium from the US. There is always a problem, or I have to come back. I have to make an appointment to apply for my official driver's license. That takes 5 minutes. Why do I have to make an appointment for a 5-minute process? I understand for a visa, because that can take a long time, but to apply for a driver's license when all my certificates are available? I don't understand it. I really had to fight to change my name when I was married, because I wanted to change my traditional American name. That was a 10-day fight to get my family name changes. Then to get my student visa when I was here. That took 4 months, then I had to go in every month to apply for a vacation visa. 70 euros or so every time. Terrible municipality with an equally bad town hall.

It has good and results-oriented employees. A good municipality for the residents of the region.💯

They have no idea what they are doing. The citizen is not being helped here; quite the opposite.
