When it comes to the building, the innovative approach, and the friendliness, the Kampenhout town hall really stands out. The new reception area, the friendly lady at the counter, and the Civil Registry department have always assisted me with a smile. This combination of professionalism, innovation, and customer friendliness undoubtedly deserves 10 stars!

  I just left the municipality of Kampenhout to renew my identity card, and I encountered a very unpleasant person. She took a photo of me and didn't even bother to show it to me to see if I was satisfied with it. I asked if I could have the photo retaken, since it was for an identity card with a validity period of 10 years, which she absolutely did not appreciate. If you don't like your job, apply somewhere else and let someone else take your place! Bad experience.

  Be careful if you want to rent a home in Kampenhout. There is no real control, and that makes slum landlords happy, like at De Tritsstraat 61, where we lived in mold for 5 years. Many health problems. Many hidden defects and vermin. Creaking walls, a condemned water softener, etc. After renovating this home at our own expense, we still haven't received our deposit back after 4 months. A normal municipality would have declared this home unfit for habitation long ago.

  The new entrance is still a bit tricky to find. Otherwise, the service is always friendly, quick, etc.
