A small and beautiful Belgian city. There are also parks and natural areas to explore.

I was very disappointed. I went to renew my passport, but in the meantime I wanted to ask for more information. Since I don't speak Dutch, I politely asked Mrs. Aurélie Sijmens if she spoke French. Her response was really racist: "No, I don't speak French. After 10 years of living here, you go to school to learn the language." I was shocked. I said that here in Belgium there are many immigrants, and if someone doesn't speak the language (because they can't go to school due to the work I do), shouldn't they be helped? Could you kindly tell me that I don't speak French but wait while I call another colleague? However, please provide competent and kind people, regardless of their background, to help them. I would also use Google Translate. I just hope that the lady will go on vacation somewhere someday, and if she needs information, she should be treated the same way she treated me.
