  Fairly quick service at the counter after making an online appointment via the website. Friendly and helpful reception. Free internet and water at the dispenser.

  If I could, I would give 0 stars. What arrogant people must work there. I sent a serious email three times with questions about past births and deaths, as I am trying to reconstruct a family tree. They didn't even bother to reply at all! Given the distance, I'm not going to 'just pop over' there to ask my question. Thanks a lot ;-)

  Actually zero stars, but oh well, it works. Went today to pick up my passport and asked for information, only to be told that I needed an appointment to collect it; simply ridiculous, not normal. We have a town hall and, as usual, they don't want to work there but do want to make money; service is 0.0. The unfortunate thing about the whole situation is that this is a government institution and we have no other choice.

  Zero stars. I have already asked multiple times for a certificate for the years I was domiciled there and still haven't received it. I was born in Haaltert, but they can't find several years.

  I cannot understand why they are only open for 3 hours, for a municipality where you sometimes have important matters to attend to.
