Good service, with the option to visit one day a week after office hours. There is ample parking nearby. The setting is pleasant, in what was probably a small castle in the past.

Magnificently situated at the entrance to the beautiful municipal park, the building resembles a small castle. There are ample parking spaces and they are beautifully tucked away in the green surroundings. This former notary's residence was built in 1848. A memorial in the town hall indicates that the official inauguration of the building took place on August 31, 1980, after a thorough renovation. Governor Kinsbergen, along with the mayor and aldermen, attended the opening. All those who played a significant role in the renovation and conversion of the town hall and the development of the park were also guests. The town hall and the beautiful park provide the setting for, among other things, the well-known evening storytelling performances in the summer.
