I've always received excellent help with every question I've had. The services are very professional, friendly, and accurate. And of course, this is by appointment only; otherwise, the influx and rush of people with all their questions would be out of control. So, definitely the right approach!

More than a month ago, I contacted our elected municipal officials about an unsafe situation in Brakel (3 emails); to date, I have still received no answer... this is probably normal... we do not belong to the elite....

I understand all the fuss about unfriendliness. I was there myself recently regarding a change of address, and everyone was very friendly and helpful.

A mayor who intimidates and threatens citizens for defending their children. I don't know what to call his behavior.

It's a shame that you have to make an appointment for the smallest things, like dropping off a piece of paper, which might have taken 2 minutes. (Tip: just walk in and drop off your paper) it's always empty there anyway.
