The civil registry employee at the municipal office did not correctly fill out the administrative documents for my wife's birth certificate, which had serious consequences and ruined our lives.

Bonheiden is the textbook example of cronyism. If you work for the municipality, you can get anything done; you can even have your own street made one-way. If not, you are sent from pillar to post, or you have to wait weeks for an answer because the 'civil servants' don't know the answer themselves. An address that has existed for 30 years is suddenly no longer valid upon sale, yet in the meantime, 30 years of cadastral income has been collected. It doesn't get any more scandalous than this!
