Well, don’t try to be an expat living in Beersel, this is the message sent by 70% of the people working in this commune. First of all they are not knowledgeable about the different process for non Belgium nationals, which could be okay, if they could at least try to know / understand/ research. Instead the answer is always they cannot d or it is not possible or this is not the right place, etc. So you as a expat, go back and forth trying to understand the process until the last detail to finally be sure what you where doing in first place was right! It is just madness ...

I don't understand how complicated it is to help an expat out in English. They refuse to speak English this is madness. Some of the staff are so unfriendly and absolutely not helping if you can't speak Flemish. Even in the deepest parts of Germany they try to help you in English. Very sad.
