The crazy border sitation of Baarle-Hertog-Nassau continues inside the Townhall as well. Town-hall has a police room in it with both Belgian and Dutch police. The meeting/ceremony room in the building has a diagonal line that passes through it (can you see it in the pic above?)!

I received excellent assistance with my registration as a Dutch national in the municipality of Baarle-Hertog. Thanks and respect to the hard-working, friendly, and professional civil servants. Residents are listened to here, after which they are clearly informed of the decisions made.

Baarle-Hertog Town Hall: after the friendly reception by a number of police officers, which reinforced our sense of objective safety, we were able to briefly view the council chamber with the border.

We are being helped quickly with appointments during this time; they really stick to the rules. It depends on yourself too, of course, but please stick to the rules.
