  This is a difficult review. While Dr. De Donder gave me mostly useful information and advice concerning seborrheic dermatitis, nearly all this information I already knew from my general practitioner and reputable sites (Mayo Clinic, Cleveland Clinic). First and foremost, what she failed to do was listen. She frequently cut me off, not letting me explain that certain over-the-counter creams helped relieve my dry and irritated skin. She insisted that people shouldn't use cosmetics, and I assume this included moisturizing your skin. Ultimately, she failed to address the main reason for my appointment: previously prescribed medication burnt my skin. However, she did inform me of an alternative to cortisone cream. I guess that's the silver lining for this (though I will definitely do my own research before using her "miracle" cream). Needless to say, despite the basic information that she reiterated to me (which I mostly already knew), I won't be returning to see Dr. De Donder. That said, if you're really in need of a dermatologist I would still try to book an appointment with Dr. Dr Donder, as I don't doubt her ability to certain conditions.

  I've only heard good things about her, the only negative point (hence one star less) is that appointment times aren't respected, maybe because she takes her time with the patient, otherwise she's great!

  We've been to Dr. De Donder several times already; she always gives good advice.

  My first appointment was an hour and a half late, so I couldn't have a consultation since I had another appointment elsewhere. My second appointment was 25 minutes late, and the doctor told me she didn't have the product for sclerotherapy, even though I had called the receptionist that same day, and she confirmed that they had it in stock. Since the doctor is overwhelmed and can only dedicate 15 minutes of her time to each patient, it was impossible for her to treat me. If you have melanoma, don't go to her because she'll turn you away without a diagnosis since she only has 15 minutes to spare. The practice is as outdated as she is! Don't waste your time! We're not numbers, we're human beings!
