Great mosque

This mosque used to be the best in Belgium. A peaceful atmosphere, exceptional Tarawih prayers with incredible imams (special mention for Imam Ridwane Ahriouil). A top-notch leader, Saïd, Ma sha Allah. But since Saïd left, it's not the same mosque anymore: no air conditioning, not clean, no good imams. The new leader, Adnane, has sown discord between the mosque and its worshippers. It's a shame, SubhanAllah. Now I have to go pray in Brussels.

Response to ADNAN's message, the "new founder" of the mosque: Since the arrival of the "new founder," things have improved?! Is this a joke???!!! Are we talking about the same person who threatened to close the mosque because the worshippers weren't filling his enormous collection boxes, which he placed there just before taking it over? Boxes? What am I saying... veritable containers! He staged a veritable coup, seizing the mosque the day before Ramadan, sowing discord and imposing his absurd rules. The result: the mosque has never been so empty. The hygiene is deplorable, the organization nonexistent. Last year, an imam died, plunging the community into mourning... and you, not even a tribute! Shame on you, Adnan! May Allah grant justice. A coup d'état just before Ramadan, and now he's congratulating himself? The nerve! Just so you know: if people are staying away from the mosque, it's entirely your fault. I can't wait for Saïd to come back, he's the right man for the job!

My son (who is 9 years old and has ADHD, diagnosed as highly sensitive) is enrolled in Arabic classes at this mosque. Unfortunately, he laughed during prayer with his friend, and they were humiliated in front of the other children. They were then made to write a sentence 500 times. When my son cried, he was told, "Cry again until next week." When he paused because his hand hurt, he was ordered to continue writing. I called the person in charge to explain that this is not how my son needs to be corrected to understand. I was told that this is how things are done here, and that if I wasn't happy, I could leave with my son. Since this is how you operate, we will display your teaching methods publicly so everyone knows how you conduct your business! When I said that my son is highly sensitive and that this scene shocked him, I was told, "Your son isn't sensitive when he's playing during prayer!" This is why our children hate Arabic classes, because they have no teaching skills and treat our children like animals! Is this the behavior the Prophet enjoined upon us? Is this the behavior Allah asked you to have with a 9-year-old laughing during prayer? You will bear the responsibility before Allah for leading our youth away from religion! You boast because the number of children has increased in your mosque; your intention is to make money, not for our children to thrive!
