  I was well received by the person at reception... However, at the urban planning department (which is why I came!), the only person "present" today was "unavailable" because they weren't answering the receptionist's phone, making it impossible to get any information. It's frankly unacceptable... If you automatically have to make an appointment for a simple question, what's the point of the drop-in hours?!?

  Not a single business in Nismes—one does, but it had a weekly closing day on Tuesday—offers an ice cream or a pancake at 3 pm in the afternoon. Shame, such a beautiful village with tourist potential...
