I urgently needed a document for Monday and had requested it online via the e-service portal on Friday evening. I called the civil registry office on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. to ask about the processing time. They said it would normally take 2 to 3 business days because it was an old document transcribed by hand... The employee kindly offered to do it immediately and send it to me without delay. Less than an hour later, it was in my inbox. I want to emphasize the friendliness and helpfulness of the person who answered my phone call, as well as their efficiency! Many thanks.

I've been coming for two days, following the advertised hours, and there's NO ONE to greet me. • Closed Thursday afternoon, November 14th, 2024, even though it's supposed to be open until 4 PM??? • Closed Friday, November 15th, 2024, and there's no mention of it anywhere??? I waited with three other people until 10 AM for someone to open the door!!! No one ever showed up, NOT A SINGLE PIECE OF PAPER on the door announcing the King's Day celebration. As luck would have it, I'm looking for a part-time position. If the town needs a manager to update their website, or if they need a community manager to keep their citizens informed, I'm the person you need. Sincerely.

Let me tell you a little story: After struggling for a long time to get my driver's license, after going through all those administrative hurdles with their certificates, TCTC, M16, M32; after failures, after all that: I handed in the documents attesting to my success to the Sambreville Municipal Administration. What a terrible mistake! A few days later, a man called me—it was them—"(...) do you have a recent certificate for your 30 hours of driving school?" From that question, a series of phone calls ensued; I checked with the driving school, I was in compliance; I called the agent, and he told me he'd only been there for a year and that he had to check with the Federal Public Service for Mobility, because he wasn't sure. Absurd. After a night of doubt, another call came in, it was them again: "Yes, actually, it's all good, I checked." So if one day he reads these lines: Sir, honestly, I do the same job as you, next time: do your research first. Thank you.
