  My ID card was lost. The staff behind the counter categorically refused to issue the new ID card that had been previously ordered. They insisted we "follow the law," which, according to them, required us to go to the police station to fill out a lost ID card report. The police station informed us that this was absolutely unnecessary and that a simple declaration to the town hall was sufficient. Half a day of vacation wasted due to the incompetence/ignorance of the town hall employee in question.

  A beautiful town, but with appalling staff. Let me explain: I'm diabetic, so I have to renew my license every five years. I booked a car for my vacation, and unfortunately, I hadn't noticed, but my license had expired! I rushed to call them to find out if it was possible to get my license in two days. They told me no, too bad for me, no other solution was possible, and on top of that, there's no emergency procedure like for ID cards or passports... What they didn't tell me is that the reason there's no emergency procedure is because licenses are normally issued very quickly! Luckily for me, I had moved, so I went to my current town hall, which assured me I would have my license the next day since they had a delivery... In short, limit your interactions with these staff as much as possible! They'll tell you the permit will arrive in a week when it's actually the next day! I'm very disappointed to have dealt with this kind of person, especially since everyone knows perfectly well that working for the town hall isn't the most demanding job! These people only belong on unemployment; it's outrageous (many people in the town hall think like me; I encourage you to check).

  The staff behind the counters at the town hall are demotivated and unfriendly, creating a general impression of gloom. They seem tired and bothered by our questions. It would be wise to remind them that they represent the municipality and are its first point of contact for the citizens of Perwez. This opinion refers only to the staff of the town hall and in no way reflects the views of the municipality of Perwez.

  Personally, I'm very satisfied. They respond quickly and the gentleman on the phone was very helpful.
