Next to this municipal administration building is a lovely promenade along the Sambre River, easy for everyone, calm, clean, relaxing, bicycles allowed. I recommend it.

I went in on Friday and it was quite unpleasant, all for a piece of paperwork that would have taken 5 minutes.

The young woman handling the civil registry was aggressively welcoming... she lacked politeness and courtesy. If she dislikes her job, I suggest she consider a career change.
