The woman handling ID cards was very aggressive during my interview with her, accusing me of lying in front of everyone present. In the end, she admitted my version was true but didn't apologize. She showed a complete lack of courtesy and a certain degree of contempt! I think this young woman would benefit from some training in courtesy! Please ensure your employees are kept calm and polite!

One of the worst town halls I've ever seen. The staff is incredibly unpleasant, and asking them for information seems like an impossible task. Their opening hours are completely erratic. Ultimately, it reflects the town itself, which is slowly dying, thanks to the infamous mayor...

Never answer the phone, probably too busy working. The man who handles driver's licenses talks to you like he's your father and is condescending. He has no manners. I was treated better in Flanders, even without speaking Dutch, if you know what I mean...

I contacted Ms. Declèves from the population services department twice in two days (one visit and one phone call). Each time, the response was clear, quick, and precise. In short, a very pleasant and efficient employee 😉😉

No one seems willing to talk about or even mention the animal abuse plaguing this town: skeletal horse carcasses and numerous attempts by rescue organizations to save abused animals, all to no avail because local officials don't seem to care… It's rather hypocritical when you see that the Town Hall prominently features "animal welfare" on its website's homepage! This town is a sad place, known only for the photos of carcasses lying in the fields and the testimonies shared on social media by some of its own residents. I'm ashamed for you.
