One of the biggest hospital in Brussels. Services are very good. Entire process was very quick and systematic. You don’t need to worry about that. Due to construction- Entrance of this hospital is little tricky. So you have to enter from back door take lift or Stairs towards “S” then move via foot over bridge to hospital. Once you enter take left turn and go to vending machine. Use your RP card and visit to specific doctor by entering your registry on respective Desk.

Worst hospital - avoid makes you wait 6 hours and then brags about waiting time in United State and tells that we are lucky we are in Belgium? When asked how long the doctor would take the guy shut me off saying “I am going to close this discussion” and was probably saying something in French.

Kafka... I always try to be on time to my appointment (s). I struggled through the multi step reception for my 2 appointments. (waited the long queue). I then was told I was to early for my 2nd appointment (that same day, 1 hour after the 1st). So, they kindly asked me to come back later and do the queue again for the 2nd. Maybe, if someone has multiple appointments the same day, it'd make sense to allow to do this in one shot.

Total NEGLIGENCE! I’m posting my experience to raise awareness, and I sincerely hope the hospital reviews this feedback, especially since the QR code provided for feedback was not working. I arrived from abroad a few days ago and was experiencing fever, shortness of breath, nausea, and body aches. I decided to go to the ER to make sure I was not carrying a virus or anything contagious. When I arrived, I was taken into isolation with no information about what was happening or what the next steps would be. I told myself, “Okay, isolation is good as a preventive measure.” However, 3 hours passed and NO ONE came to do even a basic check. Finally, when the doctor came, she ordered blood tests. The samples took only minutes to collect, but I then had to wait another 3 hours for the results. After 6 hours, I was told I would get an X-ray. The X-ray machine took 1 additional hr to arrive to the room (at 2:30 a.m., which was not even a peak hour). Twenty minutes after the X-ray, the ER doctor came into the room and told me I had nothing and could go home. I repeated what she said just to make sure I had understood correctly. Two days later, I received a call from the ER doctor informing me that ACTUALLY, a radiologist had reviewed my X-ray that day and I have PNEUMONIA, and that I should start antibiotics immediately. This was a completely negligent case. Not only did this affect my mental health, as I could not understand why I was feeling so unwell and struggling to breathe, but it also affected my physical health because I did not receive the correct diagnosis or treatment in time. At least they called, but really? Is this the quality of healthcare we deserve? This is unprofessional, unacceptable, and inhumane. I truly hope my pneumonia improves soon, as I have already been sick for several days now.

I can only comment on the ER department. Pros: Pretty much every one was professional and friendly, everyone spoke good English, the examining doctor did a good clinical, took his time to ask question and listen. Yes, there are a lot interns, but that's how it is in all ER departments, no complaints there. Cons: Waiting times! Sorry, but you can't expect people to spend 6 hours waiting when there are hardly any patients nor (obvious) emergencies. Staff take their time and are more occupied with paperwork (well, PC-work) than with patients. According to the hospital's own triage system even if you're deemed an absolute non-emergency the max time should be 4 hours. I'm told bloodwork will be ready in 1 hour - had to chase people after 3 hours... I've waited for hours in many ERs around the world, but this is the worst, hands down. It feels like anything but ER honestly :-)
