A beautiful and welcoming mosque in the heart of Louvain-la-Neuve. The architecture is modern yet respectful of Islamic tradition, with a warm and peaceful atmosphere inside. The prayer spaces are clean and well-organized, with a mezzanine for women and ablution rooms for both men and women. What makes this mosque special is not only the building but also the community spirit: it’s entirely funded by local donations and serves as both a place of worship and a cultural hub. The mosque regularly hosts interfaith and community events, reflecting the open and inclusive spirit of the city. Although it’s slightly outside the main square, it’s easy to reach on foot from the station or the Esplanade. Definitely a great place for prayer, reflection, and dialogue.

Great mosque and very clean and organized, i just wish it would be open all the time throughout the day sometime you need to do prayers in the middle of the day
